AN UPDATE FROM RACER THOMAS AND SNOWY THOMAS
Our family has left Bayside to live in Country NSW. It is just wonderful up here. We have a very large yard and our very own insulated individual kennels (which came from Sydney) and concrete run, with water on tap and a turf run. We mostly use the enormous lawn area but when we are alone somebody may open the big gate and let us out into the street, that is why we have our pen.
Our daily walks are long and interesting. We have met cows, horses, sheep and many children on their way to school who just love to pat us. A lot of new smells and at the end of our street is the Murray River.
We are fast making friends with everybody in Howlong and so far have not worn muzzles. We believe that the muzzle law is being abolished for GAP dogs in NSW. The Shire office was advised there are a large number of dogs off-property and we are defenceless if attacked and cannot defend our owner if we are muzzled.
By the way, we also have new dog tags which show our current address details and are registered with the Shire.
