We adopted Sam a little over two years ago now and he has become a much loved member of the family. When he first came to us he was a little shy and timid. But his foster mum Christine had done such a wonderful job with him it was not long until he embraced us with open paws!
It did not take him long to get used to being part of our family and to discover that the couch was much more comfy than his bed on the floor!
Everyday Sam makes us laugh as he has some funny habits. He likes to stick to a routine and if we even so much as move his food bowl to another place he gets confused. When we rearranged the house he was lost for days!
He has also gotten used to foster dogs coming and going and has happily shared his fat cattle dog sister Bella with them. They can often be found snuggled up together ( usually on the couch).
Another thing that Sam has learnt to love, along with walks on the beach are, chicken frames and toys of his own and his presents. His first Xmas was filled with the wonder of wrapping paper.
Thankyou Brooke & Matt for sharing you wonderful story with us.
